Boston United bring in ex-Brighton winger Luca Barrington on deal to end of season
Boston United have bolstered their squad ahead of Tuesday night’s National League fixture by signing winger Luca Barrington until the end of the season. The 21-year-old arrives at the Jakemans Community Stadium after leaving Brighton & Hove Albion, where he joined in August 2022 on a three-year contract but did not make a senior appearance. Barrington, who came through Manchester City’s academy system, spent last season on loan in League Two with Grimsby Town, making 43 appearances and scoring four goals. Having been without a club so far this campaign, the wide player is now available for selection and could make his Boston debut when the Pilgrims host Woking on Tuesday (19:45 GMT).
