Lincoln City Chairman Clive Nates Seeks New Investment for Promotion Ambitions

Lincoln City chairman Clive Nates is seeking additional investment for the club as it eyes its ambition to reach the Championship. Nates, who hails from South Africa and will be celebrating his tenth anniversary with the club in February, assumed the role of chairman in June 2018 and has been a key figure in Lincoln City’s rise from the National League to League One.

During a rare discussion with BBC Radio Lincolnshire, Nates commented on the profound advancements the club has made during his tenure, stating, “There’s been enormous progress. The club is entirely different from when I joined ten years ago. The stadium has been enhanced, and when I first came onboard, we didn’t even have a training ground. It means that investors supporting the club are now faced with a drastically different setting.”
