Man Released on Bail After Suspicious Death in Cherry Willingham

A man aged 75 has been granted unconditional bail following his arrest linked to the suspicious death of an 82-year-old woman in the village of Cherry Willingham, near Lincoln. The police were alerted to a property on Elm Avenue on Monday afternoon. Whilst the death is currently being perceived as suspicious, the authorities express their impartial judgement as further investigations are ongoing. The police have affirmed that they are not pursuing anyone else in relation to the incident, and have already informed the deceased woman’s next of kin.
