Tragic Collision Claims Life of Woman in Her 60s Near Metheringham

A tragic two-car collision has resulted in the unfortunate death of a woman in her 60s, as has been verified by the Lincolnshire Police. The incident transpired at the junction of Moor Lane and Station Road. This area is situated between the villages of Metheringham and Timberland and the incident took place at roughly 18:15 GMT on Monday. The woman, at the wheel of a blue Volkswagen Touran, was sadly declared dead at the location. Her fellow passenger suffered minor injuries and was subsequently taken to hospital for necessary treatment. The driver of the other vehicle implicated, a grey Ford Ranger, sustained injuries as well. The local inhabitants are advised to navigate the area with caution as investigations are ongoing.
