Willa Wonka the Kitten Finds New Home After Spalding Rescue

A kitten named Willa Wonka has been adopted after a significant recovery following her discovery injured in Spalding. The two-week-old kitten was found with a serious head injury, thought to be from a dog attack. A compassionate local individual took her to a local vet for treatment. Willa was then cared for at the Stamford Cats Protection centre, where her name derived from her unique look, a result of her injuries.

The centre coordinator, Griselda Winn, described Willa’s survival as extremely uncertain, yet she admired the kitten’s resilience. After starting out with the need for constant attention and eye drops due to her injuries, Willa’s health took a substantial turn for the better, eliminating the need for the eye drops. Upon reaching 17 weeks old, she found a new loving family to reside with in the area.

Ms. Winn conveyed her joy over Willa’s recovery and the new chapter in the kitten’s life, wishing both Willa and her new family a blissful life together in the future.
